The Mimopath™ technology is based on GEM particles loaded with antigens of choice. Complete loading of GEM particles with antigens is achieved by using our proprietary non-covalent coupling technology, Protan™. Many types of antigens from bacterial, parasitic and viral origin have been loaded on the GEM particles. The resulting antigen-covered GEM particles constitute the final Mimopath™ vaccine that is delivered to humans via the mucosal layers of the nose (spray) or mouth (capsule), without the need for an injection.
